Bright Simons is a Ghanaian public interest researcher, policy activist, social innovator, entrepreneur, and writer. He is a honorary Vice President at IMANI Centre for Policy and Education, and was previously in charge of the think tank's research portfolio. He is also the founder and president of mPedigree.

Kofi is a researcher and policy practitioner focused on responsible computing and the governance of artificial intelligence. His work centers on developing global strategies that advance responsible AI literacy, workforce readiness, and inclusive innovation across universities and innovation ecosystems in North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. He has co-led large-scale research initiatives examining the societal impacts of AI across multiple dimensions of justice, including human rights, economic and racial justice, gender and disability inclusion, LGBTQIA+ rights, community justice, and environmental sustainability. Kofi’s research focuses on the intersection of tech and society, with particular attention to how AI technologies are adopted, governed, and regulated in the Global South. He regularly engages with media, policymakers, and international stakeholders, and convenes global dialogues on technology governance, equity, and responsible innovation.

Alfred Appiah is a seasoned data scientist and applied economist dedicated to leveraging data to drive impactful policy decisions. With a robust foundation in economic theory and advanced statistical techniques, Alfred specializes in extracting actionable insights from complex datasets. He is particularly skilled at bridging the gap between technical analysis and practical application, utilizing sophisticated machine learning models and compelling data visualizations to enhance the efficiency of government programs.Throughout his career, Alfred has led numerous policy evaluation initiatives across various levels of government in North America, employing both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Alfred regularly contributes to national policy discussions in Ghana through both traditional and new media.

Isaac Kofi Agyei is a seasoned Data and Research Journalist and Statistician with a strong foundation in economics, advance applied statistics and data analytics. Isaac specializes in the application of advanced statistical methods and machine learning models to extract actionable insights from complex, high-dimensional datasets for policy analysis and public-interest reporting. With a core focus on accountability journalism, Isaac leverages data-driven storytelling to interrogate governance, macroeconomic policy, public finance, and institutional performance. His analytical rigor, combined with investigative depth, enables him to translate technically complex evidence into accessible narratives that inform public discourse and decision-making. His work sits at the intersection of statistics, economics, and journalism, where he applies quantitative reasoning to uncover systemic risks, policy failures, and socio-economic trends, establishing him as one of Ghana’s leading practitioners in data-driven accountability reporting.
